On the third Thursday of each month from 9:00-10:00am AKST, the Southeast Village Fisheries Collective, a coalition of regional organizations and community members, hosts a virtual learning session to empower Southeast Alaskans to work together to build thriving coastal communities. Guest speakers will share information on topics such as fisheries science and management, local and Indigenous stewardship, Community Quota Entities, advocacy, and programs and opportunities to enhance and sustain local fisheries.
