GCI Suicide Prevention Grant Guidelines

Alaska Community Foundation (ACF), in partnership with GCI, is offering the GCI Suicide Prevention grant opportunity, which was founded by GCI in 2016.

Purpose

The goal is to fund projects and organizations that will help reduce rates of suicide in Alaska and promote mental wellness through strengthened community and personal connections. Organizations seeking project or operational support are encouraged to apply.

Priority will be given to organizations that:

• Empower Alaskans to work together to promote community wellness.

• Demonstrate measurable results, accountability, cultural sensitivity, and unify communities.

• Include an element of suicide prevention training in the project plan.

• Will impact communities that might not have easy access to suicide prevention support programs.

Award Amount: $1,000 – $15,000
