Join us for a Beginning Farmer Training Program for Villages & Rural Communities!

Led by Indigenous farmers in partnership with Calypso Farm in Fairbanks, this hands-on program will teach participants how to grow vegetables in a way that is transferable to villages and rural communities.

Topics range from seed starting and preparing garden beds, to water systems, composting and using what you have on site to build the health of your soils.

There is no cost for tuition and travel & camping assistance is available to those who need it.

All are welcome to apply. Preference will be given to Alaska Native applicants, as well as those living in rural Alaskan communities.
