Monthly Southeast Alaska Food Web meetups

Second Wednesday of each month / Virtual / Sustainable Southeast Partnership

Join the Sustainable Southeast Partnership’s monthly Food Web Meetups, a monthly virtual meetup for people from around Southeast Alaska to connect, network, learn, gain skills, exchange knowledge, and work together on various aspects of our food systems. Guest speakers will share information on topics such as propagating wild plants, traditional food harvesting and preservation, composting and soil health, root cellars, education and outreach, and more. Everyone is welcome!

SEAK Food Web Meetups happen on the second Wednesday of each month from 11am-12:30pm AKST.

We want these monthly meetups to reflect the needs and priorities of our communities. If there are topics you’d like to learn about, discuss, or share, please let us know. By learning from one another, we can work together to strengthen our food systems and communities across the region. To share or suggest a meetup topic, or to get on our mailing list, please contact Annika Ord at alord3@alaska.edu.
