Reminder to use your Community Facility Power Cost Equalization Allocation!

Ongoing / Rural Alaska / Alaska Energy Authority

Want help paying for energy costs at community facilities? Most rural Alaska communities receive an allocation of Power Cost Equalization (PCE) funding to help pay for energy costs at community facilities.  Based on data released by the Alaska Energy Authority (AEA), over 3.7 million kilowatt hours of Community Facility PCE allocated to AP&T’s service areas were not utilized in 2022 – benefits valued by the AEA at over $500,000. Please encourage your community’s public facilities to sign up for this affordable energy benefit! Click here for the form.
