Tenakee Springs occupies a narrow strip of land on Chichagof Island, where a single footpath (no roads, no cars), winds past colorful houses and leads everyone to the the communal hot springs bathhouse. For well over a century, these mineral waters have drawn fishermen, artists, and more to this community of less than 100 year-round residents.
